Domain Name for Your App — Available .coms
Updated
Domain Search King · Updated November 1, 2026
App names fight App Store collisions and domain squatters. Generate app brand domains and keep only live-available .coms.

Domain + store listing + social handles. startup names · SaaS names.
App brands fight two namespaces
Mobile apps must clear App Store / Play naming norms and still own a web domain customers can type. A beautiful app title with a parked .com trains users to find impostors.
App domain checklist
- Matches or cleanly shortens the app title
- Easy to dictate in a podcast ad
- Not confused with a major platform trademark
- .com available, or a deliberate secondary TLD with .com owned by you later
- Social handles roughly align
When the exact name is gone
Try verified get/app modifiers only if the core brand remains obvious. Otherwise generate a cleaner coined form and rename the app before launch marketing freezes. Tools: startup names · SaaS names · brand to domain.

Is this a legal or official domain / trademark check?
No. Domain availability uses live RDAP against registries. Trademark flags (when shown) are simple heuristics, not legal advice and not a USPTO or counsel search. Always clear trademarks properly before branding spend.
Why do AI chatbots say a domain is free when it is taken?
Language models predict plausible text; they are not connected to the domain registry unless a tool runs RDAP/WHOIS. Domain Search King only shows names that pass a live availability check before display. See the AI Domain Hallucination Index.
Do I need the exact app name as .com?
Ideal yes. Short modifiers (get/app) can work if the exact match is gone — verify availability live.
Is this free?
Yes. Affiliate links may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

Generate names now Verify one domainDoes the app name have to match the domain?
The store listing and the address people type should be the same word. A clever app name with a different domain means every podcast mention needs a correction. If the exact .com is taken by a parked page, you still do not have to accept a hyphen. Coin a close word you can say, and put that word in both places.
What should an app domain leave out?
Leave out "app", "mobile", and the platform name. Those words describe the container, not the product, and they are registered in bulk. The icon already says it is an app. The domain should say what the app does, or it should be a short brand you are willing to repeat in the app store subtitle.
| Audience | Domain that fits | Domain that fights you |
|---|---|---|
| Consumers | One easy word on .com | A string that looks like a bundle id |
| Teams at work | The same word you use in the sales deck | A consumer pun the buyer will not forward |
| Developers | A short name you can also use as a CLI | A hyphen they will mistype in a terminal |
How do you check the app name outside the store?
Store search is not a registry check. Run the word here, then open brand name to domain if you already have the brand and only need the address. Subscription products also belong on the SaaS name generator. The ending, if you are tempted by .io, is explained on .io vs .com.
