What we collect

Domain Search King is a domain search and naming tool. We collect the minimum needed to run the product:

• Search queries — the keyword or business description you enter, used only to generate and verify domain names in real time. We don't sell or share your search queries.
• Basic usage analytics — via Microsoft Clarity, which records anonymized session behavior (clicks, scrolling, page views) to help us understand what's confusing or broken on the site. Clarity may set cookies; see Microsoft's Clarity privacy statement for details on their handling of this data.
• Email address — only if you voluntarily submit it through the "Notify me" waitlist form. Used solely to contact you about the feature you signed up for. We don't sell this list or send unrelated marketing.

Affiliate links

Domain Search King is an affiliate business. When you click "Register" on a domain name, you're taken to Namecheap (or another registrar) through an affiliate link, and we may earn a commission if you complete a purchase — at no extra cost to you. This funds the free tool; it does not affect which names we show you or their availability status, which is always independently verified live against the domain registry before it's ever shown.

How we use information

To operate the search and naming tool, verify domain availability live, improve the product based on aggregate usage patterns, and respond to waitlist sign-ups. We do not sell personal data to third parties.

Third parties

We use the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policy: Microsoft Clarity (analytics), Namecheap and other registrars (affiliate checkout), Vercel (hosting), and AI model providers (to generate name suggestions — your search keyword may be sent to a naming model, but this is not personal data and is not stored by us beyond generating your results).

Cookies

We use minimal cookies/local storage for functional purposes (remembering your search preferences like ".com only") and for Clarity analytics. You can clear these anytime through your browser settings.

Data retention

Search queries are not permanently stored or tied to your identity. Waitlist emails are retained until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.

Your rights

You can ask us to delete any email address you've submitted, or ask what data we hold about you, by contacting us (see below). We'll respond within a reasonable time.

Children

Domain Search King is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product changes. Material changes will update the "last updated" date above.
